New Delhi: Balasubramanian Krishnamurthy, a lateral entrant currently serving as Joint Secretary (TPRU) in the Department of Revenue, has been given additional charge of the post of Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) in the same department.
According to an order issued by the Ministry of Finance on Tuesday (13.05.2025), the competent authority has approved the assignment for a period of three months, or until the appointment of a regular CVO, whichever is earlier.
Krishnamurthy has been serving as Joint Secretary in the Department of Revenue since January 17, 2022, following his induction through the lateral entry mode. Initially appointed for a three-year term, his tenure was later extended by two years, and is now set to continue until January 17, 2027.
