Atul Kumar Tiwari (IAS: 1990: KN), currently serving as Secretary, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, has been assigned additional charge of the post of Chairperson, National Council of Vocational Education & Training (NCVET). According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Tuesday (25.03.2025), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet granted ex-post facto approval for this assignment for a further period of three months, effective from March 13, 2025, or until a regular incumbent joins the post, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
