The Assam government on Tuesday issued transfer and posting orders of two senior IAS officers in the state.
The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :
- Jishnu Barua (IAS:1998:AM), ACS, Social Welfare, Secretariat Administration (Archives), Home, Political and Revenue & DM Department is transferred from the Social Welfare Department and Substantively posted as ACS, Home and Political Departments and allowed to continue as ACS, Revenue & DM and Secretariat Administration (Archives) Departments as additional charge.
- B. Kalyan Chakravarthy (IAS:1995:AM) posted as Principal Secretary, Social Welfare and Higher Education Departments.
