Assam: Two IAS officers shifted

The Assam government has recently issued transfer and posting orders for two IAS officers. One officer has been relieved from their current departmental charge, while the other has been transferred and assigned additional responsibilities.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows:

1. Mukesh Ch. Sahu (IAS:1996:AM), Principal Secretary, Women & Child Development, Social Justice & Empowerment, Tribal Affairs (Plain) and Welfare of Bodoland Department is relieved from the charge of Principal Secretary, Social Justice & Empowerment Department.
2. Biswajit Pegu (IAS:2009:AM), Secretary, Home & Political, Environment & Forest Department, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Social Justice & Empowerment Department with additional charge of Secretary, Home & Political Department.
