Assam: Two IAS officers get new charges

The Assam government on Monday (13.02.2023) issued transfer and posting orders for two IAS officers.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows:

1. Syedain Abbasi (IAS:1990:AM), Additional Chief Secretary, Public Health Engineering, Water Resources and Irrigation Departments and Resident Representative, New Delhi is also posted as Additional Chief Secretary, Information Technology as additional charges.
2. M S Manivannan (IAS:2005:AM), Commissioner & Secretary, General Administration, Irrigation Departments and CEO, SITA and Commissioner, Upper Assam Division is relieved from the charge of Commissioner & Secretary, General Administration Department and substantively posted as Commissioner & Secretary, Irrigation Department and CEO, SITA and Commissioner, Upper Assam Division as additional charge.
