Assam : Three senior officers reshuffled

The Assam government on Thursday (19:08:2021) issued transfer posting orders of three senior IAS officer.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :

1. Syedain Abbas (IAS:1990:AM), Additional Chief Secretary, Public Health Engineering and Water Resources Departments, has been given additional charge of the post of Additional Chief Secretary, Information Technology Department.
2. Niraj Verma (IAS:1994:AM), Principal Secretary, Home, Political, Power (E), Parliamentary Affairs, Personnel, Science & Technology and Information Technology Departments and Additional Principal Resident Commissioner, Assam Bhawan, New Delhi is relieved from the charges of Principal Secretary, Science & Technology and Information Technology Departments.
3. Gyanendra Dev Tripathi (IAS:1998:AM), Commissioner & Secretary, Environment & Forest, Border Protection & Development and Implementation of Assam Accord Department and CEO, ASDMA and Director, Land Records, has been given additional charge of Commissioner & Secretary, Science & Technology Department.
