Assam : Three senior officers get new responsibilities

The Assam government on Saturday effected a minor reshuffle in state bureaucracy by assigning new responsibilities to its three officers

They are

1. Anurag Goel (IAS:1996:AM), Principal Secretary, Health & Family Welfare Department and Commissioner of Taxes is relieved from the additional charge of Commissioner of Taxes.
2. Rakesh Kumar (IAS:2005:AM), Commissioner & Secretary, Fishery & Irrigation Departments and Commissioner of Excise is substantively posted as Managing Director, Assam Power Distribution Company Limited with additional charge of Commissioner & Secretary, Fishery & Irrigation Departments. He is relieved from the additional charge of Commissioner of Excise.
3. Rakesh Agarwala (IAS-Non-SCS:2009) has been posted as Commissioner of Taxes with additional charge of Commissioner of Excise.
