Assam : Three IAS officers transferred

The Assam government on Tuesday issued transfer and posting orders of three IAS officers in the state.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :

1. V.S. Bhaskar (IAS:1985:AM) : Chairman, Board of Revenue, Assam and Additional Chief Secretary, Hill Areas, Mines & Minerals and Pensions & Public Grievances Department is relieved from the additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary, Mines and Minerals Department.
2. Avinash Purushottam Das Joshi (IAS:1994:AM) : Principal Secretary, Environment & Forests and Excise with additional charge of Mines & Minerals
3. Dr. M Angamuthu (IAS:2002:AM) : Commissioner & Secretary, WPT & BC, Tourism, Secretariat Administration and General Administration Department and Commissioner, North Assam Division is also posted as Commissioner & Secretary, Sports & Youth Welfare as additional charge.
