The Assam government on Saturday (18.12.2021) promoted senior IAS officer Shyam Jagannathan (IAS:1997:AM) to the Above Super Time (HAG) Scale (Principal Secretary level) with effect from 01.01.2022. Jagannathan has been given proforma promotion as he is serving on central deputation as Development Commissioner (JS level), Santa Cruz Exclusive Export Processing Zone (SEEPZ), Special Economic Zone, Mumbai under the Department of Commerce.
