Assam : In a major bureaucratic rejig, 18 IAS/ISS officers transferred

The Assam government on Wednesday issued transfer and posting orders of 18 IAS/ISS officers in the state.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :

1. V S Bhaskar (IAS:1985:AM) : Chairman, Assam Administrative Tribunal with additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary, Pension Grievances Department.
2. Maninder Singh (IAS:1989:AM) : Additional Chief Secretary, Guwahati Development and Cooperation Departments with additional charge of Chief Resident Commissioner, Assam Bhawan, New Delhi.
3. Syedain Abbasi (IAS:1990:AM) : Additional Chief Secretary, Public Health Engineering, Water Resource, Information Technology, Science & Technology and Food, Civil Supply & Consumer Affairs with additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary, Mines & Minerals Department and Managing Director, Assam Hydrocarbon & Energy Company Ltd.
4. Biswaranjan Samal (IAS:1992:AM) : Principal Secretary, Hill Areas Department with additional charge of Managing Director, Assam Food & Civil Supplies Corporation Ltd.
5. Samir Kumar Sinha (IAS:1994:AM) : Principal Secretary, Finance and Health & Family Welfare Departments and Additional Principal Resident Commissioner, Assam Bhawan, New Delhi with additional charge of Transformation & Development Department.
6. Niraj Verma (IAS:1994:AM) : Principal Secretary, Home, Political, Power (E), Personnel and Administrative Reform & Training Department is relieved from the additional charge of Principal Secretary to Administrative Reforms & Training Department.
7. Archana Verma (IAS:1995:AM) : Principal Secretary, Administrative Reforms & Training Department and Chairman, Board of Revenue.
8. Rajesh Prasad (IAS:1995:AM) : Principal Secretary, Agriculture Department, Agriculture Production Commissioner, CEO, MMS-CMSGUY and Commissioner, Lower Assam Division is relieved from the additional charge of Commissioner, Lower Assam Division.
9. Dr. J B Ekka (IAS:1995:AM) : Principal Secretary, Panchayat & Rural Development, Parliamentary Affairs, Transformation & Development, Labour Welfare Department is relieved from the additional charge of Principal Secretary, Transformation & Development Department.
10. Shantanu P Gotmare (IAS:2004:AM) : Divisional Commissioner, Lower Assam Devision.
11. Siddharth Singh (IAS:2005:AM) : Commissioner & Secretary, Public Health Engineering and Information Technology Departments and Director, IT, Electronics & Communications and CEO, FREMAA.
12. K K Nath (ISS) : Commissioner & Secretary, Transformation & Development and Information Technology Department and Director, IT, Electronics & Communications is relieved from the additional charge of Commissioner & Secretary, Information Technology Department and Director, IT, Electronics & Communications. He is also
    posted as Commissioner & Secretary, Guwahati Development Department and PD, Assam Urban Infrastructure Investment Programme.
13. Akash Deep (IAS:2005:AM) : Commissioner & Secretary, Agriculture Department and Director, Agriculture with additional charge of State Project Director, ARIAS Societies.
14. Manoj Kumar (IAS:2008:AM) : Secretary, Social Welfare and Public Enterprises Departments with additional charge of Registrar, Cooperative Societies.
15. Ghanshyam Dass (IAS:2012:AM) : Commissioner, Guwahati Municipal Corporation is transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of the Govt. of Meghalaya for his posting in the State of Meghalaya.
16. Devajyoti Hazarika (IAS-SCS:2009) : Commissioner, Guwahati Municipal Corporation.
17. Anant Lal Gyani (IAS:2011:AM) : Deputy Commissioner, Dhubri is transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of the WPT & BC Department for posting him as Principal Secretary, Bodoland Territorial Council.
18. Adil Khan (IAS:2011:AM) : MD, Assam Industrial Development Corporation.
