The Assam government has transferred or given additional charge of various posts to four IAS officers.
The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :
- Dr Ashish Kumar Bhutani (IAS:1992:AM), Additional Chief Secretary, Agriculture Department, Agriculture Production Commissioner, Chairman, ARIAS Society and Chairman, State Level Recruitment Commission for Class III posts is also posted as Additional Chief Secretary, Transformation and Development Department as additional charge.
- Siddharth Singh (IAS:2005:AM), Commissioner & Secretary, Medical Education & Research Department, PD, JICA Assisted Assam Health Infrastructure Strengthening Project, is also posted as Commissioner & Secretary, Transformation and Development Department as additional charge.
- Rahul Kumar Gupta (IAS:2019:AM), SDO (Civil), Bijni is transferred and posted as Staff Officer to the Chief Secretary, Assam.
- Bijoya Choudhary (IAS-SCS:2011), Secretary Elementary Education Department and Member, State Level Recruitment Commission for Class-IV Posts, has been given additional charge of Secretary, Secondary Education Department.
