Assam : Five IAS officers get additional responsibilities

The Assam government on Thursday (07.04.2022) gave additional charge to five IAS officers to further tone up the administration.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :

1. Archana Verma (IAS:1995:AM), Principal Secretary, AR & Training and PPG Department has been given additional charge of Principal Secretary, T&D Department.
2. Bandana Choudhury (IAS-SCS:2010), Secretary, Parliamentary Affairs Department has been given additional charge of Secretary, Passport Department.
3. Lakshmannan S (IAS:2011:AM), Secretary, Industries & Commerce, Mines & Minerals Department and Chief Minister’s Secretariat is also posted as MD, Guwahati Smart City Limited.
4. Pallav Gopal Jha (IAS:2012:AM), Deputy Commissioner, Kamrup (Metro) and MD, Guwahati Smart City Limited is relieved from the charge of MD, Guwahati Smart City Limited. He has been given additional charge of Project Director, JICA Assisted Guwahati Water Supplies Project.
5. Namita Dutta (IAS-SCS:2010), Secretary, Mines & Minerals and IT Departments has been given additional charge of State Inquiry Officer.
