Chief Secretary Jishnu Barua (IAS:1988:AM) takes charge as Chairman of the APDCL (Assam Power Distribution Company Ltd), APGCL (Assam Power Generation Corporation Ltd) and the AEGCL ( Assam Electricity Grid Corporation Ltd) on Monday. This will be the Chief Secretary’s additional charge. Former Chairman of these power companies V K Pipersenia (Retd. IAS:1980:AM) quit the post on Saturday.
