Assam : 07 IAS officers transferred

The Assam government on Sunday (05.09.2021) issued transfer and posting orders of 07 IAS officers across the state.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :

1. Paban kumar Borthakur (IAS:1989:AM), Additional Chief Secretary, Transformation & Development, Cultural Affairs and Tourism Departments and Chairman, Assam Administrative Tribunal has also been given additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary, Sports & Youth Welfare Department.
2. Siddharth Singh (IAS:2005:AM), Commissioner & Secretary, Health & Family Welfare Department has been given additional charge of Commissioner & Secretary, Sports & Youth Welfare Department.
3. Rakesh Agarwala (IAS-Non-SCS:2009), Commissioner of Taxes and Commissioner of Excise has been assigned additional charge of Managing Director, Assam Tea Corporation.
4. Pabitra Ram Khaund (IAS-SCS:2010), Secretary, Irrigation Department.
5. Umamanda Doley (IAS-SCS:2010), Secretary, Welfare of Bodoland Department.
6. Adil Khan (IAS:2011:AM), Commissioner, Transport, State Project Director, Assam Inland Water Transport Development Society & MD, AIDC has been given additional charge of MD, Assam Skill Development Mission.
7. Sadnek Singh (IAS:2014:AM), Joint Secretary, Transport Department.
