Assam : 05 senior IAS officers transferred

The Assam government on Tuesday issued transfer and posting orders of 05 senior IAS officers in the state.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :

1. Jishnu Barua (IAS:1988:AM) : ACS, Home, Political, Revenue & DM, Border Protection & Development, Social Welfare, Implementation of Assam Records, Passport and Secretariat Administration (Archives) Department is rlieved from the additional charge of ACS, Social Welfare Department.
2. Paban Kumar Borthakur (IAS:1989:AM) : ACS, Social Welfare, Cultural Affairs and Irrigation Department.
3. Syedain Abbasi (IAS:1990:AM) : ACS, PHE, Water Resources, Information Technology, Science & Tchnology and Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Departments is relieved from the additional charge of ACS, Information Technology and Science & Technology Departments.
4. Archana Verma (IAS:1995:AM) : Principal Secretary, Transport, Information Technology and Science & Technology Departments.
5. Dr. Krishna Kumar Dwivedi (IAS:1996:AM) : Commissioner & Secretary to the Govt.of Assam, Industries & Commerce, Public Enterprises, Act East Policy Affairs, Transport and Skill, Employment & Entrepreneurship Departments is relieved from the additional charge of Commissioner & Secretary to the Govt of Assam, Transport Department.
