ASPS Ravi Prakash (IAS:2011:AGMUT) has been appointed as Director of Census Operations (DCO)/Director of Citizen Registration (DCR) (Deputy Secretary) for the Andaman & Nicobar Islands. As per an order from the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Thursday (22.02.2024), the competent authority has sanctioned Mr. Prakash’s appointment to the post under the central staffing scheme on an additional charge basis. This appointment is effective from the date he assumes charge of the post and extends up to 31.12.2025 or until further orders, whichever comes earlier.
Concurrently, the incumbent Pankaj Kumar (IAS:2012:AGMUT) has been relieved from the additional charge of the post of DCO/DCR in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
