In a significant development, the central government on Monday (02.06.2025) appointed Ashutosh Agnihotri (IAS:1999:AM) as Chairman of Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC). According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Monday (02.06.2025), the Appointments Committee of the cabinet has approved the proposal of the Department of Food and Public Distribution to appoint Mr Agnihotri to the post. Presently, he is serving as Chairman & Managing Director (CMD), Food Corporation of India (FCI) since January 2025.
