Ashok Kumar Kaluaram Meena (IAS:1993:OR), currently serving as Secretary, Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation under the Ministry of Jal Shakti, has been assigned additional charge of Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC).
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), the competent authority has approved the assignment of additional charge to him from April 15, 2026 to April 24, 2026.
He will hold the additional responsibility during the period of absence on leave of Tanmay Kumar (IAS:1993:RJ), who is serving as Secretary in the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change.
