Ashok Kumar appointed Ambassador of India to Belarus

Senior diplomat Ashok Kumar (IFS: 1998) was on Thursday (05.12.2024) appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Republic of Belarus. Presently, he is serving as High Commissioner, High Commission of India, Lusaka and is expected to take up the assignment shortly.

In a statement, the MEA said, “Shri Ashok Kumar (IFS: 1998), presently High Commissioner, High Commission of India, Lusaka, has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Republic of Belarus.”

“He is expected to take up the assignment shortly,” the statement added.
