Ashish Kumar Saxena re-designated as Director in GeM

Ashish Kumar Saxena (IRSE:2011), currently serving as Deputy Secretary in the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) under the Department of Commerce, has been re-designated as Director.

According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Friday (20.12.2024), the competent authority has approved the proposal to re-designate his post to Director level with effect from January 1, 2025, or the date he assumes charge of the post, whichever is later and for a period upto 03.01.2027 i.e. total admissible tenure of five years under the central staffing scheme.

It is noteworthy that Ashish Kumar Saxena embarked on his central deputation tenure on January 4, 2022.
