The central deputation tenure of Ashish Kumar (IDSE:1998) as Director, Department of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation, has been extended for a period of two years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), the central government has approved the proposal of Department of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation for extension of central deputation tenure of Kumar for a period of two years beyond 03.01.2022 and up to 03.01.2024 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
