The Modi government on Monday appointed Arunish Chawla (IAS:1992:BH) as Senior Economist, Institute of Capacity Development of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Washington DC USA for a period of two years. Chawla recently completed his tenure as Minister (economic) at the Indian embassy in Washington.
