The Ministry of Home Affairs on Monday (10.01.2022) appointed Satish Golcha (IPS:1992:AGMUT) as new Director General of Police (DGP) of Arunachal Pradesh. He will succeed incumbent R P Upadhyay (IPS:1991:AGMUT), who has been transferred to Delhi. Presently, Golcha is serving as Special CP, Law & Order Division Zone-II (New Delhi Range, Southern Range & Western Range), in Delhi Police .
