Arunachal Pradesh : IAS officer S K Jain suspended for APSSB exam

The Arunachal Pradesh government on Tuesday suspended former secretary and controller of examinations of the Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board (APSSB) S K Jain (IAS:2007:AGMUT), for alleged gross administrative negligence. Jain’s suspension came after the APSSB announced the cancellation of its lower division clerk (LDC) and junior secretariat assistant (JSA) examinations over the recent ‘cash for jobs’ fiasco.

Jain was also the secretary of the state’s land management, urban development and town planning departments
