Arun Baroka (IAS:1990:AGMUT), Secretary, Department of Chemicals & Petro-Chemicals, has been given additional charge of the post of Secretary, Department of Fertilizers. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Thursday (20.04.2023), the competent authority has approved the assignment of the additional charge of the post to Mr. Baroka after Arun Singhal (IAS:1987:UP) relinquished it. Arun Singhal was shifted to the National Archives of India, Ministry of Culture as Director General in a major bureaucratic reshuffle effected by the center on Thursday.
Baroka will hold the charge of the post till the appointment of a regular incumbent or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
