AP: 27 IPS officers shifted; Madhusudhana Reddy appointed ADGP, Law & Order

The Andhra Pradesh government on Monday (20.01.2025) effected major changes in the police administration of state by issued transfer orders for 27 IPS officers. The highlight of transfer orders was the appointment of N Madhusudhana Reddy as ADGP, Law & Order.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;

1. Rajiv Kumar Meena (IPS:1995:AP), ADGP (Operations), Greyhounds & Octopus, has been transferred and posted as Chairman of State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB).
2. N Madhusudhana Reddy (IPS:1997:AP), ADGP, awaiting posting orders, has been posted as ADGP, Law & Order.
3. Ch Srikanth (IPS:2002:AP), IGP, Law & Order, has been transferred and posted as IGP, Operations with FAC of IGP, Technical Services.
4. G Pala Raju (IPS:2006:AP), awaiting posting orders, has been posted as Director, FSL.
5. R Jayalakshmi (IPS:2006:AP), awaiting posting orders, has been posted as, IGP/Director, ACB.
6. B Raja Kumari (IPS:2007:AP), IGP, has been posted as IGP, Andhra Pradesh Special Police (APSP) Bans.
7. B Satya Yesu Babu (IPS:2011:AP), DIG, awaiting posting orders, has been posted as DIG, PTO.
8. KKN Anburajan (IPS:2011:AP), DIG, awaiting posting orders, has been posted as DIG, Welfare & Sports.
9. Babujee Attada (IPS:2011:AP), DIG, awaiting posting orders, has been posted as DIG, Greyhounds.
10. Dr. Fakkeerappa Kaginelli (IPS:2011:AP), DIG, Intelligence, has been transferred and posted as DIG, Andhra Pradesh Special Police (APSP) Bans.
11. Vikrant Patil (IPS:2012:AP), SP, Kakinada, has been transferred and posted as SP, Kurnool.
12. V Harshavardhan Raju (IPS-SPS:2013), SP, awaiting posting orders, has been posted as SP, Tirupati.
13. L Subbarayudu (IPS-SPS:2013), SP, awaiting posting orders, has been posted as SP, Red Sanders Anti-Smuggling Task Force, Tirupati.
14. M Deepika (IPS:2014:AP), Commandant, 3rd Battalion, APSP, Kakinada, has been transferred and posted as Commandant, 2nd Battalion, APSP, Kurnool.
15. KSSV Subba Reddy (IPS-SPS:2015), SP, PTO, has been transferred and posted as SP, Co-ordination, Human Rights & Legal.
16. P Parameswara Reddy (IPS-SPS:2016), SP, awaiting posting orders, has been posted as SP, SCRB, CID.
17. G Bindu Madhav (IPS:2017:AP), SP, Kurnool, has been transferred and posted as SP, Kakinada.
18. S Sreedhar (IPS:2017:AP), SP, awaiting posting orders, has been posted as SP, CID.
19. Krishna Kanth Patel (IPS:2018:AP), SP, awaiting posting orders, has been posted as DCP, Administration, Visakhapatnam.
