The Andhra Pradesh government on Tuesday issued transfer and posting orders for 11 IPS officers in the state including the Commissioner of Police of Visakhapatnam city.
The names of the officers and their postings are as follows:
- Dr. A Ravi Shankar (IPS:1994:AP), ADGP, Vigilance & Enforcement and Ex- Officio Principal Secretary, GA (V&E) Department, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner of Police, Visakhapatnam City.
- Kumar Vishwajeet (IPS:1994:AP), ADGP, Railways, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, Vigilance & Enforcement and Ex- officio Principal Secretary, General Administration (Vigilance & Enforcement) Department.
- Dr. C M Thrivikrama Varma (IPS:2005:AP), Commissioner of Police, Visakhapatnam City, has been posted as Inspector General of Police, Special Protection Force.
- Siddharth Kaushal (IPS:2012:AP), SP, Octopus, has been transferred and posted as SP, YSR District.
- Anburajan KKN (IPS:2011:RR), SP, YSR District, has been transferred and posted as SP, Ananthapuramu District.
- K Srinivasa Rao (IPS), SP, Ananthapuramu District, has been posted as DCP (Law & Order), Visakhapatnam.
- Vasana Vidhya Sagar Naidu (IPS:2016:AP), DCP (Law & Order), Visakhapatnam, has been transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, Greyhounds.
- Krishna Rao Boddepalli (IPS:2014:AP), SP, ACB, has been transferred and posted as SP, Annamayya District.
- R Gangadhar Rao (IPS), SP, Annamayya District, has been posted as Commandant, 14th Battalion, Anantapuramu.
- Adnan Nayeem Asmi (IPS:2013:AP), Group Commander, Greyhounds, has been transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, ACB.
- Jagadeesh P (IPS:2017:AP) has been posted as SP, East Godavari District.
