Ms. Anuradha Thakur (IAS:1994:HP), Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, has been granted an extension of additional responsibility as Director of the Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO) for an additional six-month period. As per an order released by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Monday (14.08.2023), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has given approval to the Ministry of Corporate Affairs’ proposal to prolong the assignment of additional charge as SFIO Director for six months, extending beyond the initial period until 31.07.2023 or until a regular incumbent is appointed, or until further notice, whichever occurs first.
