The tenure of Anuj Gupta (a private person) as Officer on Special Duty to Piyush Goyal, Minister for Commerce and Industry, Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution and Textiles, in the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade has been curtailed. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Tuesday (11.04.2023), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal for ex-post facto curtailment of tenure of Mr. Gupta with effect from March 7, 2023.
