Anu Kukreja repatriated to parent cadre from MHA

ICoAS officer Anu Kukreja repatriated to parent cadre from MHA with extended cooling-off provision.

Anu Kukreja (ICoAS:2009), who was serving as Director in the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), has been prematurely repatriated to her parent cadre.

According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Friday (March 20, 2026), the competent authority has approved her premature repatriation with an extended cooling-off provision.

Kukreja had joined the MHA in October 2023 after being laterally shifted from the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), where she was serving as Director (Finance) since April 2021.

She was initially appointed in NDMA for a period of four years. However, following her transfer to MHA, her overall central deputation tenure was scheduled to continue till December 31, 2026.
