The deputation tenure of Anshuman Ram Tripathi (IRPFS:2013) as Additional Director in the Information & Public Relations Department, Uttar Pradesh, has been extended for one year.
On September 7, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet approved the Ministry of Railways’ proposal to extend Tripathi’s deputation beyond June 20, 2024. He will now continue to serve in Uttar Pradesh until the end of June next year. Initially appointed in June 2021, Tripathi is likely the only officer serving in the department on deputation.
Tripathi’s deputation tenure had expired in June 2024, prompting the Uttar Pradesh government to send a proposal for extension to the Central Government. With this approval, he has received another year to continue his work in the state.
