Anshu Prakash appointed Chief Secretary of Delhi

Anshu Prakash,a 1986-batch IAS officer of the Arunachal Pradesh-Goa-Mizoram and Union Territory (AGMUT) cadre,was appointed the chief secretary of the Delhi government.He has been prematurely repatriated to his parent cadre from the Union rural development ministry.He served as an additional secretary and financial advisor in the ministry.

Prakash’s predecessor M M Kutty was sent to the Union finance ministry as an additional secretary last month. Kutty, a 1985-batch IAS officer, was made Delhi’s chief secretary in November last year.
