The Andhra Pradesh government on Friday appointed senior IAS officer Neerabh Kumar Prasad (IAS:1987:AP) as the new Chief Secretary of the state. He replaces incumbent Chief Secretary Dr K S Jawahar Reddy (IAS:1990:AP), who went on medical leave on Thursday after meeting Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu, who is set to take over as the next chief minister on June 12.
