Senior IRS officer Amitabh Kumar (IRS-C&IT:1992) was on Tuesday (25.03.2025) granted proforma promotion to the grade of Chief Commissioner of Customs & Indirect Taxes (HAG+) in Level 16 of the Pay Matrix.
His promotion is effective from March 3, 2025, which is the date on which his immediate junior assumed the charge of the post of Chief Commissioner of Customs & Indirect Taxes on a regular basis.
