Senior diplomat Amit Narang (IFS: 2001) was on Thursday (05.12.2024) appointed as the next High Commissioner of India to the Republic of Slovenia. Presently, he is serving as Ambassador of India to the Sultanate of Oman and is expected to take up the assignment shortly.
In a statement, the MEA said, “Shri Amit Narang (IFS: 2001), presently Ambassador of India to the Sultanate of Oman, has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Republic of Slovenia.”
“He is expected to take up the assignment shortly,” the statement added.
