Amit Mohan Mittal (IRS-IT:2008) has been appointed as Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of Directorate General of Shipping (DGS), Mumbai, for three years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Friday (December 19, 2025), the competent authority has approved his appointment as CVO, DGS for a period of three years from the date of assumption of charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
