Alok Tandon (IAS:1986:UP) was on Tuesday (30.11.2021) given additional charge of the post of Secretary, Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), he has been given additional charge of the post till the appointment of a regular incumbent or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Presently, he is serving as Secretary, Ministry of Mines.
