Alok Sharma (IPS:1991:UP) was on Friday (04.02.2022) appointed as Additional Director General in the Special Protection Group (SPG) by temporarily upgrading a post of IG in SPG to the level of ADG for remaining period of his deputation in SPG i.e. upto 15.03.2022. Presently, he is IG, SPG.
