Ajit Kumar Singla (IPS:2004:AGMUT) has been appointed as Deputy Inspector General (DIG) in National Human Rights Commission (NHRC). According to an order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Singla has been appointed to the post of deputation basis from the date of joining of the post and up to 31.08.2026 (i.e date of his superannuation) or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
