Ajeya Kallam appointed principal advisor to Andhra CM

The Andhra Pradesh government has appointed former chief secretary Ajeya Kallam (Retd. IAS:1983:AP) as principal advisor to Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for a period of three years. Ajeya Kallam will have cabinet rank and would be leading the secretaries in the Chief Minister’s Office. He will also advise all departments.

Ajeya Kallam retired as chief secretary in 2017 when N Chandrababu Naidu of the Telugu Desam Party was the Andhra Pradesh chief minister.

He had previously handled many important assignments in the Government of India as well as in the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
