IAS officer Ajay Tirkey (IAS:1987:MP) on Friday assumed charge as Secretary, Union Ministry of Women and Child Development after superannuation of Rabindra Panwar (Retd.IAS:1985:BH).
Before assuming the charge of Secretary, Tirkey was holding the post of Special Secretary in the Ministry.
