Ajay Kumar Yadav gets extension as IG, CRPF

The central deputation tenure of Ajay Kumar Yadav (IPS:1996:HP) as Inspector General (IG) of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has been extended for a period of two years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Tuesday (15.11.2022), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Home Affairs to extend the deputation tenure of Mr. Yadav for a period of two years beyond 18.01.2023 and upto 18.01.2025 (total 7 years) in relaxation of the IPS Tenure Policy.
