Ajay Kumar (IAS:1985:KL) was on Tuesday (30.11.2021) given additional charge of the post of Secretary, Department of Defence Production. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), he has been given additional charge of the post till the appointment of a regular incumbent or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Presently, he is serving as Secretary, Department of Defence.
