Aishvarya Singh gets extension as JS in D/o Commerce

The central deputation tenure of Aishvarya Singh (IAS:2008:SK) as Joint Secretary in the Department of Commerce has been extended for one year. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Saturday (07.12.2024), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of Department of Commerce to extend the deputation tenure of Ms Singh for a period of one year beyond 05.12.2025 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
