The Union Ministry of Home Affairs on Friday (December 19, 2025) promoted 18 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers of the AGMUT cadre to the Junior Administrative Grade (JAG) (Level-12 in the Pay Matrix). As per the order, the promotions will take effect from the dates specified against each officer’s name.
Boju Jayant Dua (IAS:2014) and Kanto Danggen (IAS:2014) have been granted notional promotion with effect from January 1, 2023, with actual benefits admissible with immediate effect. Similarly, W Khimhun (IAS:2015), Karma Leki (IAS:2015) and Mige Kamki (IAS:2015) have been accorded notional promotion from January 1, 2024, with immediate financial benefits.
The remaining officers, mostly from the 2017 batch, will be promoted to the Junior Administrative Grade with effect from January 1, 2026. These include Ayush Sudan, Sonalika Jiwani, Pravimal Abhishek Houlmata, Kulothungan A, Yash Chaudhary, Manu Haga, Bilal Mohiuddin Bhat, Santosh Gunwantarao Sukhadeve, Patil Pranjal Lahensingh, Mang Sherpa, Pallavi Sarkar, Mohammad Mansoor I, and Rudra Goud P T.
