ACC clears promotion of 190 Scientists/Engineers

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) on Friday cleared the proposal of the Department of Atomic Energy for promotion of 190 Scientists/Engineers under the Merit Promotion Scheme (MPS).

1. 131 officers from the grade of Scientific Officer/Engineer ‘G’ have been promoted to grade of ‘H’ ;
2. 50 officers from the grade of Scientific Officer/Engineer ‘H’/’H+’ have been promoted to the grade of ‘Outstanding Scientist’;
3. 09 officers from the grade of ‘Outstanding Scientist’ have been promoted to the grade of Distinguished Scientist.
