The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) on Wednesday (December 10, 2025) approved the redesignation of four officers of the 2012 batch from various services to the rank of Director. The redesignation will take effect from the date the officers assume charge of their respective posts.
All four officers are currently serving as Deputy Secretaries in different ministries and departments of the Government of India.
Those redesignated as Directors are Bakki Karthikeyan (IAS:2011:MP), presently serving as Private Secretary to Union Minister G Krishna Reddy; Geetika Sharma (IAS:2012:AGMUT), posted in the Ministry of Mines; Raghav Gupta (IRS-IT:2012), serving in NATGRID under the Ministry of Home Affairs; and Ashish Saxena (ISS:2012), also posted in the Ministry of Mines.
