ACC clears appointment of three Members in NHAI

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet on Monday (04.09.2023) approved the appointment of three officers to key positions within the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). Among these appointments, two have been designated as Members (Project), while the third has been entrusted with the role of Member (Technical).

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet on Monday (04.09.2023) approved the appointment of three officers to key positions within the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). Among these appointments, two have been designated as Members (Project), while the third has been entrusted with the role of Member (Technical). These appointments are effective for a period of three years, commencing from the date they assume their respective positions, or until further directives are issued, whichever comes first.

Here are the appointees:

Members (Project):

  1. Anil Chaudhary (IRSE:1994), who is currently serving as a Senior Professor at the Indian Railway Institute of Civil Engineering in Pune.
  2. Vinay Kumar Rajawat (CES-Roads:1992), presently holding the position of Additional Director-General at the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways.

Member (Technical):

  1. Alok Deepankar (CSE-Roads:1994), currently serving as the Chief Engineer-Regional Officer in Jaipur for the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways.
