ACC approves Special DG level appointments in Central Police Organisations

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the proposal of Ministry of Home Affairs for Special DG level appointments in Central Police Organisations (CPOs).

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :

1. Anish Dayal Singh (IPS:1988:MN), Addl. Director, Intelligence Bureau, has been appointed as Special Director, IB on in-situ basis by temporarily upgrading the post of Addl. Director held by officer for a tenure of two years.
2. Manoj Kumar Lal (IPS:1988:AGMUT), Addl. Director, Intelligence Bureau (IB) has been appointed as Special Director, IB on in situ basis by temporarily upgrading the post of Addl. Director held by officer for a tenure of two years.
3. Amitabh Ranjan (IPS:1988:TR), Addl. Director, Intelligence Bureau (IB) has been appointed as Special Director, IB on in-situ basis by temporarily upgrading the post of Addl. Director held by officer for a tenure of two years.
4. N K Mishra (IPS:1988:SK), Addl. Director, Intelligence Bureau (IB) has been appointed as Special Director, IB on in-situ basis by temporarily upgrading the post of Addl. Director held by officer for a tenure upto his superannuation on 31.01.2022.
5. Tapan Kumar Deka (IPS:1988:HP), Addl. Director, Intelligence Bureau (IB) has been appointed as Special Director, IB on in-situ basis by temporarily upgrading the post of Addl. Director held by officer for a tenure upto his superannuation on 28.02.2023.
6. Manmohan Singh (IPS:1988:BH), Addl. Director, Intelligence Bureau (IB) has been appointed as Special Director, IB on in-situ basis by temporarily upgrading the post of Addl. Director held by officer for a tenure of two years.
7. Atul Karwal (IPS:1988:GJ), Director, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy (SVPNPA) (ADG level), has been appointed as Director, SVPNPA by restoring the post to level of Director for tenure upto his superannuation on 31.03.2024.
8. Pankaj Kumar Singh (IPS:1988:RJ), Addl. Director General, Border Security Force (BSF), has been appointed as Special Director General for a tenure upto his superannuation on 31.12.2022.
9. Sanjay Arorra (IPS:1988:TN), Addl. Director General, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has been appointed as Special Director General, CRPF for a tenure upto his superannuation on 31.07.2025.
10. Zulfiquar Hasan (IPS:1988:TN), Addl. Director General, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has been appointed as Special Director General, CRPF for a tenure upto his superannuation on 31.10.2024.
11. Satya Narayan Pradhan (IPS:1988:JH), Director General (ADG level), National Disaster Relief Force (NDRF), has been appointed as Director General, NDRF on in-situ basis by temporarily upgrading the post of Director General for a tenure of two years.
12. U C Sarangi (IPS:1988:MP), Addl. Director General, Border Security Force (BSF), has been appointed as Special Director General, BSF on in-situ basis by temporarily upgrading the post of Addl. Director General
    held by the officer for a tenure upto his superannuation on 31.07.2021.
13. Ram Phal Pawar (IPS:1988:WB), Director (ADG level), National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB), has been appointed as Director, NCRB on in-situ basis by temporarily upgrading the post of Director held by the officer for a tenure upto his superannuation on 31.12.2021.
14. S L Thaosen (IPS:1988:MP), Additional Director General, Border Security Force (BSF), has been appointed as Special Director General, BSF on in-situ basis by temporarily upgrading the post of ADG held by the officer for a tenure of two years.
15. Praveen Sinha (IPS:1988:GJ), Additional Director, Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), has been appointed as Special Director General, CBI for a tenure upto his superannuation on 30.04.2022.
