ACC approves in-situ upgradation of four officers to Spl Secretary level

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet on Monday (24.03.2025) approved the in-situ upgradation of four officers to the level of Special Secretary in the rank and pay of Secretary in their respective ministries and departments. These officers were previously serving as at the rank of Additional Secretary.

The officers promoted are:

1. Arti Bhatnagar (IDAS:1990), now Special Secretary & Financial Advisor in the Ministry of Commerce & Industry.
2. Trishaljit Sethi (IPoS:1990), elevated to Director General (Training) in the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship at the Secretary level.
3. Sanjay Prasad (IRS-IT:1990), promoted as Special Secretary in the Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance.
4. L. Satya Srinivas (IRS-C&IT:1991), appointed as Special Secretary in the Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce & Industry. He will continue holding the additional charge of CEO, Government e-Marketplace Special Purpose Vehicle.
